Final CAD Assembly of the Animatronic
Why?
Why?
After years of wanting to build homemade animatronics, I was inspired by Garner Holt's Murphy the Dragon featured that was featured in the Disneyland nighttime show "Fantasmic".
How
How
The dragon was designed fully modeled in Fusion 360 and most of the final figure was 3D Printed.
Controlled through an Arduino Uno
Uses three high-torque servos to control neck movement and rotation.
Uses a small servo for jaw motion.

Figure worked as designed and was able to play pre-programmed animations and be controlled through a joystick.
